Before The Inspection Before beginning the inspection the inspector will thoroughly review the inspection process and Pre-Inspection Agreement with the customer. The customer will be asked to carefully review the agreement and is encouraged to ask questions that may arise. Once the customer signs the agreement then the inspections can begin. The agreement is designed to explain what is covered in the inspection and what is not. The inspection is not fully exhaustive and is not designed to, nor can it expose all of the defects or risks associated with the home. It is designed solely to expose the defects which are readily apparent and of significant concern. The buyer must understand that the purchase of real estate is inherently risky and the inspection simply helps to reduce the risk.
